ThinkPad - now and on fuel cells

IBM and Sanyo approve that the prototype of portable computer ThinkPad confidently works on fuel cells. Eight hours on end.
Companies IBM and Sanyo in the near future promise to present the public the sample of in common developed portable computer of family ThinkPad who works on fuel cells. More precisely, together the companies developed only a new power supply system for these machines - for representatives IBM emphasize, that "fuel" laptops, excepting the power supply system, differ nothing from the "electric" colleagues. Moreover, the experimental model allows even to connect traditional batteries.
The companies approve, that developed notebook on fuel cells not because the theme of alternative energy carriers is now very fashionable - that is why, that wish to adjust commercial release of such models. Whether that the test machine works as gift on one charge of the cells of 8 hours! However, promising commercial samples such laptops, the companies and have not named even provisional terms when it is possible to expect occurrence of such machines in the market.
