Joint venture Siemens and Nokia will dismiss 9 thousand employees

The joint venture German Siemens and Finnish Nokia which is engaged in development and manufacture of mobile phones, has declared reduction about 9 thousand employees. The most part of reductions will pass in Germany - dismissal almost here expect three thousand employees. In Finland staff Nokia Siemens Networks becomes less on 1,5-1,7 thousand workers. Nokia and Siemens have declared creation of joint venture in the middle of 2006. Sales of the company make about 17 billion euro a year. Nokia Siemens Networks is the third manufacturer on size of the telecommunication equipment after Swedish Ericsson and французско-American Alcatel-Lucent, reminds AFP.
